So I bought some Gimme Lean beef recently, and I’ve been using it a lot. You can use it for anything, seriously. Meatballs, burgers, pasta sauce, lasagna.. I decided to make some burgers. I took some of the vegetarian beef and put it in a bowl, then added salt, pressed garlic, pepper, random spices that I felt like adding (whatever you like, really), some soy sauce, and vinegar. You can add whatever you want to flavor the beef, it’s also fine on it’s own. I then flattened it into a nice patty and fried it in some olive oil (butter works too). When it’s nicely brown on both sides it’s done. It’s especially good with some vegetarian bacon and cheese on top (I love Havarti cheese with caraway seeds, so GOOD!).
I also made some fries (cut up a potato into strips, fry in some olive oil and salt until nice and golden), and a chocolate milkshake (put milk, chocolate powder or syrup, and some vanilla ice cream in a blender, then enjoy in a tall glass with a straw). Yum.
